Current customer rating:
2 CV DOLLY - LAST DAY OF PRODUCTION - ORIGINAL CHASSIS - GREAT INVESTMENT
One of 6 RHD cars built on 25 th July 1990 which was the last day of RHD 2 CV production.
The RHD chassis numbers that were produced that day were XXXX 83 to XXXX 87 and XXXX 94.
This car is chassis number XXXX 84.
83 Still exists.
84 FOR SALE
85 Vehicle whereabouts unknown. This vehicle has never come to light.
86 Last seen by 2 CV Club in 1990.
Not taxed since 2005
87 New Chassis after being "written off".
88 - 93 were either LHD or not built.
94 The last RHD is in The Conservatoire in Paris.
The information above can be confirmed by published material.
This car is in good working order and will be supplied with 12 months MOT and 6 months road tax.
The car has its original chassis and will pass an MOT without having to have remedial work.
The car seats are photographed with covers over the recently re-upholstered seats.
The seats were re-upholstered in the type of material that they were covered in originally.
The work was done by a 2 CV specialist and they look how they would have done when the car was new.
The paintwork has marks which will be apparent when viewing but I was loathed to take away any of the originality of the car.
The floor mats are covered by a loose fit carpet which takes out and the under bonnet. the sound insulation material was replaced as the original had fallen apart.
The car is clean and tidy and well looked after.
The car is stored in a dehumidified garage with temperature controls over winter and is currently SORN as our council have excess grit to throw around to soak up the rain I guess?
This car is no ordinary 2 CV. it is a piece of history and will be an investment for the future.
I believe this is the latest RHD 2 CV still on its original chassis that is available to the public (i. e. not in a museum) - Any inspection welcome.
More info available if seriously interested - NO OFFERS.
Thanks.
