1973 Citroen SM - 3.0 Maserati engine - 5-Speed - California Car!

Here is a very Rare, Ultra Desirable, and truly Exceptional, 1973 Citroen SM Coupe that appears to be a lifelong California car and is now offered, fresh out of the estate of a long-time owner in Southern California. It is one of only 2,037 Citroen-Maserati SM Coupes sold in the US market in 1973-75. It has the super desirable, big, 3.0 liter Maserati V-6 Engine with 3 Weber 2-BBL Carburetors and the much sought after, 5-Speed Manual Transmission!

The body is as rock solid and rust-free as you would expect a California car to be! The paint finish is actually very attractive as our photos show and has the normal chips or imperfections associated with age and usage. It is a slight color change from the original silver color. I would call it a strong condition 3, cosmetically.

The interior is beautiful with the recent new leather interior and the dash, dash pad, and carpets are very nice. All the gauges appear to be in working order with the exception of the clock. The radio plays well and the power antenna is inoperable. The horn, wipers, turn signals, and interior lights all work well but the exterior lights are inoperable. The AC system is operable and just needs servicing with freon.

It appears to be in great condition mechanically. The engine is smooth and quiet. The transmission shifts smoothly and easily and the car drives and handles exceptionally! The air suspension system is in fine working order and the brakes work well! The exhaust is quiet and the tires look new. The engine compartment is clean and nicely detailed!

All in all, this is a rock-solid, well cared for and maintained, and extremely desirable Classic Citroen that is ready for cruising and even weekend car shows! Priced to sell fast to settle the estate! Located in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona.
