Lotus Europa Twin Cam Special.
New chassis. front & rear suspension. driveshafts. brakes. steering rack. braided hoses etc.
The car looks a mess because of the paint. but underneath it is essentially a new rolling chassis. rebuilt approx 10 years ago and never progressed further. Stored in the dry since. I have just put it on the drive this weekas my garage now has the new project in it!
Fitted Ford xflow 711 1300 cc hc engine. running from a fuel can and temp ignition barrel. standard 5 speed Gearbox. Needs flywheel and clutch to make driveable. 'Plug and play' conversion though as the Ford block is same as Lotus block. Standard twin cam 5 speed box. Needs a rad. all other pipework fitted inc swirlpot.
Body needs respray. doors fitting etc. bolting down. bobbins need Reglassing in on the front 2. usual lotus stuff.
new windscreen. and I have all the other glass.
Seats nice need cleaning up. dash like new. needs fitting up. headlining nice. new steering rack etc.
Wheels are original twin cam with new Goodyear's worth £800.
The car is basically an as new rolling chassis that needs all the other components fitting up. restored cars making approx 40 k. owned for 1 year. Club Lotus member and enthusiast. I have the v 5. tax exempt this year too 1973!
