Regardless of whether you are Cruising down the road or sitting in your driveway. this Classic Collector's Edition Corvette gains everyone's attention!

The 1982 Collector Edition was released to mark the final production year for Chevrolet's third-generation C 3 Corvette body that was introduced in 1968 as well as the frame that was introduced in 1963.

This Classic Corvette includes original exclusive exterior and interior touches and Collector Edition features and plenty of upgrades as well.

In many ways. the 1982 Corvette is the best C 3 of all.

Making this Sports Car even more rare is the fact that only 25. 07. of which 6. 59 were Collector Editions. were produced for 1982.

This was the fewest Corvettes made during a single production year since 1967. which makes this car much sought after by C 3 enthusiasts.

This beauty is also a beast! Pop open her hood and check out her new High Performance 383 Stroker Engine with Street De Mon Carburetor.

She has a Chromed Edelbrock Intake. Chrome Corvette 50 th Anniversary Dual Filter Air Cleaner. Performance Distributor. Chromed Brake Booster and Master Cylinder. Be Cool Aluminum Heavy Duty Radiator with Transmission Cooler. a ZEX Nitrous - Gold Fusion Nitrous System and much more!

This year was the first since 1955 to come without an available manual gearbox. so this baby is an automatic.

The exhaust system has been upgraded and Stainless Steel Exhaust Tips added as well.

Setting her apart visually are "Collectors Edition" cloisonne emblems with the crossed-flags around the edge on the hood. rear deck. and steering wheel silver-beige metallic paint with graduated shadow-like contrast striping on the hood and bodysides bronze-tint solar screened glass T-tops and finned "turbine" alloy wheels like the ones first seen on the 1963 Sting Ray.

Her two-tone paint option. that recalls earlier Corvette Anniversary treatments. has been Professionally painted with "Ghost Flames" that blend perfectly with her Original Exterior Color.

Inside is matching silver-beige leather upholstery and door trim. leather-wrapped steering wheel. and luxury carpeting.

She's had very few exterior changes since she rolled of the factory floor.

Her Cosmetic Alterations consist of new "383" emblems on the sides of her hood scoop and "NOS Nitrous Injected" emblems replacing the original "Cross-Fire Injection" badges above the front-fender vents.

A unique Collector Edition only feature is the frameless lift-up glass hatch which allows access to the storage area.

This glass hatch hadn't been available since the 1978 restyle because of cost considerations.

C 3 production since 1968 totaled a smashing 542. 61 units when the last of the 1982 Corvettes were built. No other Corvette generation had lasted so long. and it's quite likely that no future one will have the same staying power.
