Iconic and highly sought after 1966 Split Screen VW Campervan - Solid Project without engine
This van was imported to the UK from sunny California in 2011 and came in to my possession the same year as a project to be restored. Unfortunately. 3 years later. I still haven't started and also have a 1971 Bay Window in my life now too.
This van has been dry stored up until Feb 2014 when the storage lease ended. It is straight and pretty solid but will need some welding. a new cab floor and repairs to cargo floor and some inner and outer sill repairs.
There is no engine in this project but there is the original gearbox that has been dropped. cleaned and tested to work.
What you see is what you get.
Thrown in to the sale are a set of front disc brakes (without callipers). brand new copper brake pipe set. brand new master brake cylinder. brand new brake light switch. brand new brake fluid reservoir and brake fluid reservoir cover.
Cash on collection only and a £200 deposit is required from the lucky winner once the auction has ended.
If required delivery can be organised anywhere in the UK for an additional fee.
