Austin Fx 4 Taxi .
1973 10 months mot . ot taxed . This Taxi has been restored over the last year . Its not concourse but a solid good example . (small amount of micro blistering etc )New front wings and sills. the bottom of all four doors have been replaced . epair panel's on rear quarters. All welding has been sealed . New window rubbers all round . New copper brake pipes . new brake wheel cylinders all round . matched set of Michelin tyres . Engine and gearbox have been changed to a 2. 7 Nissan diesel with 3 speed auto with over drive . Engine is very sweet . It also has power steering fitted . Seats are in good condition . Has correct taxi plate fitted . Taxi meter in place but not working . All numbers are matching . v 5 present . This Taxi is very rare and not many 40 year old Taxi's on the road . from Robert, dated 20 january 2015Can I get a little more information about this vehicle?I live in los angeles, ca. I have a similar one in the driveway and having a terrible time figuring out how to open the hood for repairs. Any advice would be much appreciated.
