You are bidding on a 1964 Austin Mini Coupe that I imported from New Zealand about 15 years ago.
This car was in good running condition when I received it but I have not started it since shortly after I got it.
It has been sitting in my warehouse.
The only rust on this car is in the battery box. presumably from spilled battery acid sometime in the past.
There is NO RUST on any other part of the body of this car.
The floors. sills. fender wells. and every other part of the body that usually has rust is rust free. and there have been no rust repairs.
The rear subframe does have some rust in it. but that's because I switched the original subframe from this car with one from a Cooper S that I was restoring a few years ago.
The original front seats were also switched at the same time. but the rear seats. paneling. and all the carpet are original. factory-installed items.
The engine is the original. matching numbers one that came with the car when it was new.
It is an 850 cc engine.
This car also has the push button starter located between the seats. (see picture)
I expect payment within 5 days of the end of the auction.
The car can be picked up after your check has cleared my bank. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. but I can give the name of a good. reliable shipper if you wish.
NOTE: Buyer will be given a Bill of Sale only for this car as Georgia does not issue Titles for cars this old.
(EBay doesn't give this as an option. so don't pay any attention to where it says “Clear Title” in that box. )
