Here we have my beautiful 1990 Mercedes Benz SEC 500 in Diamond Blue with cream leather interior. The car has been the subject of a total upgrading to include the following.

1. Full bottom half respray. it had the usual crusty front wheel arches. hese were cut-out and new metal welded in place. The quality of the paint work (£2000 ) is just superb and in my opinion . nd that of many others who have told me so. the best colour for this car.

2. Wheels have been refurbished and fitted with new Dunlop SP Sport 01 Asymetrical tyres.

3. All discs and pads have been renewed with new brake fluid.

4. Both front wheel-bearings have been renewed.

5. Complete engine and gearbox service to include Distributer Cap. Leads. Plugs. &N Air Filter. il filter. earbox filter and gasket. ngine oil. gearbox oil. Steering fluid. and a complete flush of the coolant system.

6. A new ( very expensive ) idle-control valve has been fitted.

7. A brand new rear screen and chrome seals fitted. supplied by Mercedes Benz and fitted by Autoglass. the old one had gone a bit milky on the bottom corners and just did not do the car justice.

8. Brand new wood & Leather steering wheel from Germany. looks and feels brilliant.

9. Front down-pipes to rear box exhaust replaced with stainless steel. the rear box section is not that old and did not need to be replaced.

10. Private registration just fitted. F14 SEC

As you can see the car has had everything it has needed or will need for the forseeable future and if the Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine is anything to go by. then examples as good as this are going to increase in value quite considerably over the next few years.

I am not a dealer but a classic Mercedes enthusiast and try to find cars which I have always wanted to own but which are in need of saving. this car has been saved and will go on strongly for many years to come.

The car comes with a folder of receipts. ervice history. ld MOTs. rochures and magazines with articles relating to this model.

Just this week I have fitted the registration number F14 SEC which really sets the car off and looks great.

The car drives beautifully. mooth. omfortable. nbsp;responsive and a bit of a beastie if plant your right foot. they are easily one of the best models ever designed and built by Mercedes Benz.
