Up for auction is the Mini from RUSH the movie.

The was originally a 1985 mayfair but has been totally rebuilt into a Copper S replica.

As you can see from the photo's there is no rust on this mini at all.

If you have seen the film Rush you will have seen this car in several shots at the start of the film.

I have the receipts from the company that hired out the car and the Registration Plates from the movie too.

The spec:

1275cc A+ block

Metro head

Unleaded

Hif44 carb

Poly bushes all round.

Hi Lo's as you can see the car is pretty low at the moment.

Gaz adjustable suspension.

Cooper s 7. 5 inch brakes and servo

Maniflow exhaust system

Quickshift gear lever

Road legal track tyres

10 inch minilite style alloys

I have had the car rolling road setup a few months back and the results were fantastic.

78bhp This was tested on a braked rolling road. On an inertia rolling road it would have been 100bhp easy.

But the best thing by far was the Torque curve which is more of a flat line after 1500 revs.

I don't know who put the engine together but they really did a good job!
