Hi Folks
Up for sale is my 1962 Karmann Ghia. Imported to the UK from Southern California in 2009 a very dry state.
The Ghia comes with 12 months MOT and Tax (exempt)Flew through MOT with ZERO advisories.
Body
Original colour was pearl white. had a respray over in the states. very nice finish. Original paint still underneath. Arches are excellent. Pan halves are excellent top and bottom. heater channels are totally un-welded and 100% Solid. Spare wheel well is very good. No rust issues totally solid! Chassis number match.
Interior
All original. comes with the original rubber floor mats and carpet over central spine still in tacked. Back seat is excellent and the front seats are tired have been somewhat toasted in the states however i really like them. adds character. Rear door cards are attached front cards are not fitted.
Suspension
Narrowed 4. 5 inch adjustable beam. Very clean. Dropped spindles. Rear has dropped spring plates from red 9 design
Ride is very smooth. its lowered but its still practical!
Engine
The only air-cooled ive had that doesn't leak!! it has a 1200 SP pulls great. Gear box selects every gear with no issues. no funny noises or popping out of gear!
All breaks. master. slave cylinders have been renewed within the last 6 months including shoes and internals.
This Ghia is ready to be driven away and enjoyed. serious head turner and appreciated by all walks of life.
