1969 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Both Tops

This a very original car with virtually all original panels including both fenders. The car was resprayed many years ago the original light beige and still maintains the Tobacco brown hard top it was born with. The nose clip is also original as can be seen by the 3 overlapping panels on either side of the nose (inner fender. outer fender and nose piece) shown just outside of the open hood. The trunk floor is also original and has a light coating of protectant sprayed on it to prevent corrosion.

It comes with both tops. The gaps are quite consistent and symmetrical and the interior is nicely preserved including the original optional leather seats. The cars brightwork is in good condition with some minor patina here and there. The car starts right up and runs quite well. The Doctor who owned the car previously had it for over 20 years and took very good care of it as can be seen. Tires are near new as well. This is an excellent car to enjoy driving daily or to add to a collection for future investment.
