This is a nice 1965 Pontiac GTO Clone. It started out as a Tempest Custom - Hardtop Sport Coupe. It is a Z Code Car that came from the Fremont. California Assembly Plant. The Data Plate shows the original paint color was Cameo Ivory (Paint C) and the original interior color was Red Vinyl (Trim 212). The accessory code on the data plate shows 65045. This GTO Clone is a 4 Speed car that has Power Steering. Power Brakes and it was equipped with factory air. but the air compressor is not on it. It has a new set of tires and wheels on it. The wheels are 17 inch US Mag Wheels that look like retro Pontiac Factory Wheels. It has a lot of Chrome under the hood. It has a chrome air cleaner. valve covers. alternator. brake booster. master cylinder. and intake. The interior looks really good. It has red interior trimmed in white. The old gauges have been replaced with modern gauges that work good. It also has a modern type radio in it that works good. This car runs. drives and shifts out good. I was told when I purchased the car that it had a 326 Pontiac Engine that could have been original to the Tempest or possibly period correct but I have not verified this. This car would make someone a good driver. It has a lot of looks!
