Great Alfa Spider - this is not a concours car but a great daily driver !
This car was originally dark blue but has been repainted in Silver - all of the car was repainted except the engine compartment - there was rust in the rockers and they were not repaired properly the worst being the drivers side (there are bubbles under the paint) this would need to be addressed if you want this for a long term car - there is a ding on the left front fender (on the top edge - not horrible) there is a 3-4 inch vertical crease on the shape fender (again it is liveable) - on the left rear edge of the back there is a ding about thumb size - overall the body and paint are passable.
The Interior is new - seats. side panels. dash cap and rubber floor.
The top is fairly new - a hartz type cloth.
The wheels and tires are fairly new as well.
The car runs and drives well - the second gear is great - the exhaust was repaired and is fine but I would look for a sport exhaust. The motor is fine - good oil pressure - minimal blow by - retains the original fuel injection.
The following items have been replaced within the last few years :clutch slave cylinder. clutch master cylinder. drivers side inner and outer tie rod ends and alignment. new interior. brake master cylinder. water pump. fuel pump. wheels. tires. exhaust pipe. new paint. fuel tank. r&r flywheel. brake caliper. starter. blower motor. injection pump belt. new top.
I am in Winfield. Kansas and expect the seller to pay a $500 partial payment upon winning the auction. I also expect the seller to pick this up at my address in Winfield. Kansas within 10 days of auctions end.
