A very rare 1963 Daimler SP250 (Dart) with numbers matching 2. 5L V8 engine C-spec model and lots of upgrades. 1-owner car for over 50 years with a frame up restoration done in 1997. This car is qualified for the pre-1960 vintage racing class by the SCCA and gets 26 MPG!! My father recently purchased it from the original owner and soon after incurred some health issues that keep him from completing & enjoying his 2nd SP250 so we'd like to see it go to a new home where it can be enjoyed. cared for & shown off. This car gets TONS of compliments of course.

Jay Leno is restoring a SP 250 this year. You can see his project at
<href>http://www. jaylenosgarage. com/video/restoration-blog-1962-daimler-sp250-update-4/n37492/</href>

Many improvements to the car including: 2-circuit brake system. Upgraded 5-Speed Transmission. Rack & Pinion Steering. Front/Rear Sway Bars. Convertible Soft Top and Hard Top w/ Sun Roof. Stainless Steel Exhaust Headers. 1 ¾" SS Mufflers & Pipes to Rear. Analog Air Fuel Ratio Gauge with Oxygen Sensor in exhaust system. Alternator Conversion. Spin On Oil Filter Adapter. Optical Trigger Ignition. Five Core Aluminum Radiator. Dual Radiator Fans with Thermostat On/Off. GM Spade Fuse Blocks. MP3 DVD USB Stereo/Radio. 5 ½" TR 4 Wheels With 185/65 15" Tires. Intermittent Wiper Switch. Stainless Steel Brake Lines. Front Oil Seal instead of baffle. Oil Pan Baffle. Stainless Steel Valves. allow unleaded gas to be used; also installed are modern reclining seats. with lap/shoulder seat belts for driver and passenger. Original seats come with car.

Thousands of spare parts and fittings from the factory to the present as well as thousands
of pages of manuals; documentation & service records. The engine in the car has just shy of 22K miles and 727 running hours on the clock and is in excellent condition.

Other parts that go with the car: Spare complete Stainless Steel Exhaust. 2 HD8 Carbs and ported
manifold. 3 rebuilt distributors. new rear shock absorbers L & Rt. . 4 good 4" spare rims (stock
rims & tires). Good spare radiator. Spare rebuilt Starter Motor. Complete kits for each system
on the car. including Brakes. Plugs. Carbs. Exhaust. Electrical. Etc. Complete Tool set for car
w/Whitworth wrench sets. cylinder hones. ring compressors. hub pullers. etc. Toneau cover. and tons of other useful parts and fittings specific to this car.

This car and parts assemblage will keep this car running indefinitely. It needs some minor cosmetic work. (paint & interior) to be restored to mint original condition but it operates like it's a almost brand new and body is in great shape. There's an excellent mechanic here in Santa Monica who knows the Daimler Dart very well and can help you with whatever you'd like to do it.

All original parts come with the car. All modifications are reversible and the car can be returned
to original condition if desired. Although. I'd really keep the two circuit brake system and there
is no reason to go back to worm and peg steering.

<href>http://www. nadaguides. com/Classic-Cars/1963/Daimler/SP-250/2-Door-Roadster/Values</href> - With all the improvements & parts (relatively minor cosmetic/interior restoration work that needs to be done) should get you to the high NADA estimate for this very rare collector vehicle.
