Advertised for sale is my 1981 MG B 'LE' Roadster.
The last 1000 MGB's ever to be made were these Limited Edition cars.
HFR 893W is Number 283 of only 420 LE Roadster's ever made in 'Metallic Bronze' colour and roughly only half of these cars were fitted with the LE only alloy wheels. The other 580 were Silver (Pewter) cars in GT form.

It has recently been restored which including having a bare metal respray and new side stripe kit.
Some of the main work done and parts fitted include the following:

New Hood. OEM vinyl with zip rear window.
New windscreen & rubbers
New carpet - interior and boot
New interior panels and door cards
New seat foams. webbing. boards and hard to find as new Seat covers. Original spec. orange 'deck chair' style.
Engine repainted
Wheels refurbished
Unleaded head
New radiator
The list goes on. many other new parts fitted during the restoration. Fastenings. seals. trim etc. It has also in the past benefited from a stainless steel exhaust. The car is solid and did have some minimal welding done prior to paint. The underside has had a coat of Waxoyl. These late car's were also treated with Zeibart from new. much of which is still present and has protected the car well over the years with the body being in very good condition.

The car drives really well. it is nice and smooth and draws a lot of attention. The engine pulls well and the gears are tight. Overdrive works very well. no long delay. It's really a pleasure to drive and looks great.
Mileage is just over 52. 00. This is believed to be genuine.  I don't know much history as the car was a barn find before being restored and as such came with no paperwork when purchased although has been local for many years.

A really good. fun. rare and usable classic. Not just any 'rubber bumper' MG B either. they won't make any more of these. going to go up in value.
MOT to May this year. Tax - currently on SORN as I don't use it over winter. this can be renewed if required for new owner.
The car was also featured in 'Classic Car Buyer' issue 192 (28/8/13) in a road test against a TR7. A copy is included in the sale.

This particular car is registered with the Jubilee and LE owners club. with a certificate of authenticity confirming it as a genuine LE car and has its original running gear with matching engine/chassis numbers from new.

Please feel free to contact me for more information. more pictures or to view. I would recommend viewing the car and I'm happy to help accommodate this.
Genuine reasons for sale. other projects needed attention.
Delivery can be arranged.

Please note. more pictures to follow soon. the ones I have are too big to upload.
