A left hand drive 1964 Volkswagen Beetle saloon.
Genuine 3 owner car. the Beetle was purchased new in Nashville. TN (all bills original bills of sale from Jenkins & Wynne VW dealers are included in the sale along with handbooks service records & the salesmans business card.
A very nice and original car. The underside and body are in great condition. the only rust I can find on the car are some small areas in side the front wings. these have been treated with POR 15 & a small patch under the battery. On the outside all panels & bodywork look to be original aside from the nearside rear wing. this has fresh paint & there is a bill in the history file to back this up. I can find no other evidence of any crash damage to the car. The original 1200 cc engine drives really well with no issues. I have matched the engine number to the bill of sale to verify its originality! The gearbox is super smooth and quiet. N ew steering king and link pins have just been fitted.
The interior sports its original carpet & VW stamped rubber over mats. wear on the carpet is limited to the drivers side. The headliner is intact & in a good used original state. The seats in the rear are still in the original fabric. the front two seats have new TMI covers on them. The door cards look to be original items.
On the dash is a Genuine
(not a cheap repro!)

The car has some lovely period accessories including a working spot light. headlight grilles & original pop out rear quarter windows.
The Beetle won a 2 nd place in 2005 & a 1 st place in 2006 at the Williamson Country fair Antique car show for `Best unrestored car`. the prize Ribbons are included in the sale! All in all this is a very nice honest survivor and a pleasure to drive!
