SELLER REMARKS

Buick didn't invent the idea of luxury muscle. but the GS certainly defined the breed. This 1969 Skylark has been dressed in full GS gear. including rare badges for a GS 350 and delivers Buick's unique blend of performance trimmed with luxury features. and it's an outstanding choice for the guy who is looking for something a little different than the usual Chevelle or GTO.

The GS was the top-of-the-line Skylark. and definitely looked the part. All-new sheetmetal in 1968 created a familial resemblance throughout the line. and the sweeping crease was a tribute to the past where Buick sweepspear styling defined an entire decade. Wearing gorgeous Crystal Blue paint work. it doesn't try to be a brash muscle car. Instead it offers a sophisticated look that trades stripes for quiet confidence. A big investment in the paint job pays off with a wonderful glow that highlights the unique curves of the Buick's bodywork. There's also a distinct lack of chrome. which highlights the sweeping body line even more. This Skylard offers the full GS 350 tribute package. including upgrades like the blacked-out grille. a low-profile hood scoop. and proper GS badges wherever needed. plus those ominous Stage 1 badges always make for a great look. Note that the chrome is excellent. including the big rear bumper with its unique center-mounted back-up light and wide taillights.

Buick's luxury influence is most visible inside. where the interior is beautifully trimmed in white with contrasting navy blue carpets. Ultra-clean white seat covers sparkle in the sun. while the door panels feature chrome strips that give it an upmarket feel. The instrument panel is notable in its lack of faux wood. and in fact that gorgeous steering wheel is real wood. An AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit provides additional entertainment to augment the V 8 soundtrack out back and fits neatly in the original dash. A power convertible top was standard. and because it's a Buick. you can also enjoy factory A/C. The trunk has been upholstered to match. complete with blue carpet. white side panels and a matching spare tire cover to complete the look. Not exactly original. but awfully nice.

The GS 350 was a step up from the previous 340. offering 280 horsepower and a very impressive 375 pounds of torque. This particular Buick small block was rebuilt 5000 miles ago. so it's ready to rumble. fully sorted. and drives like a Buick should. A 700 R 4 4-speed automatic transmission offers an overdrive gear. so cruising is effortless without affecting it's impressive acceleration around town. Up top. there's Buick's instantly-identifiable air cleaner assembly with dual nostrils fed by the hood scoop as well as bright Dante Red engine paint. It exhales through a subtle dual exhaust system and upgraded sway bars actually give the big Buick the moves of a much smaller car. Classic Buick road wheels look right and wear 235/60/15 BFGoodrich white-letter radials.

Fast. comfortable. and stylish. the Buick GS is a bargain for now. But renewed interest means this one won't be around forever. Call today!

TERMS OF SALE

1. Per the e Bay User Agreement. by placing a bid you are entering into a legally binding contract and are committed to purchasing the vehicle described above. The details of this commitment are further outlined in the e Bay User Agreement.

2. Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

3. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

4. A $1. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction's close.

This deposit reserves the vehicle and removes it from the market. Acceptable payment types for deposit are: credit card. wire transfer. cashier's check. and money order.

5. If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close. vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come. first serve basis.

6. Streetside Classic Cars has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact us directly to provide additional information or answer any questions.

7. Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles. regardless of age. mileage. or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Streetside Classic Cars encourages bidder to have a personal inspection completed prior to delivery to help ensure your satisfaction. Third party inspections are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery.

8. All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied.

9. Final or winning bid price does not include shipping. tax. title. or registration fees. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any state or local taxes and shipping expenses resulting from the sale.

10. We can assist you in delivery through our network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.

11. Streetside Classic Cars bears no liability and shall be held harmless for any complications. expenses. or damages resulting from a failure to meet these terms as they have been set forth and established herein.

12. An additional documentation fee of $149 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale.
