RARE 1965 MERCURY Econoline Pick up , built by Ford of Canada, for sale

Im selling my 1965 MERCURY Econoline Pick up. This is a Canadian truck . built in Oakville Ont. August 1964. unit # 204310 . Mercury truck were only available in Canada & this truck IS a Mercury. verified by both Ford of Canada. Oakville . Ont & Ford Customer Service . Dearborn . Mi.
Ford's info states that there were 1291 of these truck built in 1965 I believe this one to be # 310 of 1291 It is not original. but I have most of the OEM parts & the body has NOT be cut or modified to accept the current power train. It currently is powered by a Shelby equipped 302. GT-40 heads. Shelby OEM intake. Holley 600 DP. Gear driven Crane cam . roller rockers. ac equal length headers . old school Dual point dist.
C-6 narrow case. Ford 9" w/3:55 gears It uses 1965 steering tech. but totally rebuilt. It has not been driven much for a number of years . thus it needs some TLC. ie: has one leaking wheel seal Truck has always been stored in heated storage as long as Ive owned it. it was a barn find when I got it.
Its a great cruise to the A& W vehicle . its not a show piece. The paint is showing some age . etc Health dictates sale!! This is a rare truck & I also have a 1965 Mercury basket case . unit # 340 You wont find one of these often. let alone TWO. but # 340 is a towable basket case Ive seen Fords listed for $13-15-17 K There were thousands of Fords built . THIS is a MERCURY !! Its RARE !! Parts truck is available for a negotiable price. as pic shows. its a basket case. . but it is towable. I have some extra pics of both.
