Used 1977 Fiat X1/9 project car

This project car is mostly complete.  Except as noted. if a part is not present in the photos. it is because it is packed in a box.  The known missing items are the washer bottle/pump and the bumpers.  The bumpers on X1/9s are often replaced with European bumpers or removed.  The door/targa seal (a one-piece seal) should be replaced.  The threads on the portion of the wiper assembly that go through the cowl are stripped. so the assembly may need to be replaced.  Otherwise. the car seems to be complete and comes with many spare parts as well.  It also includes most manuals available for the car.

The chassis is solid with no serious rust. only minor surface rust.  It needs to be painted.  I was experimenting with vinyl wrap. so two body panel are covered with vinyl that can be removed (and protects the panel in the meantime).

The engine and transmission are in an unknown state.  The previous owner indicated that they were OK. but I have not run them myself.  Included in the spares is a rebuilt carb.

It has current WA state title and registration.

I bought the car last May as a summer project. didn't finish it and have no time in the forseeable future to do so. It has been kept in a garage since I bought it.  The previous owner had it for a number of years and was slowly restoring it himself until he got sick and could no longer work on the car.  He repaired the spots that typically rust on an X1/9 (including replacing the driver-side floor).
