Current customer rating:
1973 OLDSMOBILE DELTA 88 ROYALE CONVERTIBLE - Here is a stunning. full-size. convertible that is ready for your warm weather cruising.
One that will not require months of restoration work or thousands of additional dollars to be spent. it's ready now! This car has never been restored. rather it has been properly maintained and garaged it's entire lifetime.
I am the 3 rd owner.
The two (2) previous owners names and locations are in-hand.
It was sold new at Templeton Oldsmobile in Mc Lean. VA. about 45 miles from my home.
I have the original sales contract and manuals.
The car has 75. 65 original miles.
It is driven by myself regularly.
Recently. hauled Santa in the local Christmas parade.
The car has a straight body with a repaint done in 1984 in its proper color of Cranberry Red.
It has a few nicks from being driven but is still a beautiful car.
As you may tell in the pictures. the exterior chrome is very nice as is the top (2001) which works excellent.
All of the power windows work and align properly as do all of the lights. gauges. heat defog. and air conditioner. which has a new compressor and charged with R-134.
The engine is the Standard 350. 2 bbl. and runs nice with adequate power.
It has the original style single exhaust system.
the interior can only be described as pristine.
it looks and feels new.
There are no cracks in the dash. steering wheel. or arm rests.
the original AM/FM Radio is still present and works fine.
The seats. door panels. carpet. top boot and all glass is as nice as you will ever find.
The jack and spare are in the proper place as is the original top boot storage bag.
the tires have 50-60% tread remaining.
Recently. the brakes were replaced.
The original wire hubcaps were substituted for the standard caps at the time of purchase as shown on the sales contract.
I have extensive repair receipts in a binder from since the car was new. along with a newspaper article about the car and its original owner.
There were only 7. 88 of this model built in 1973.
You are not going to see these on every street corner.
You probably will not find a more solid. rust-free example that can be purchased at this low price.
