I am the second owner of this vehicle.  The first owner had it for two years and sold it to me to raise money for his business.  No financing on this car ever.  Free and clear title.
The car has given me great experiences and was fun to drive.  I liked the roomy feeling inside.  The car drove steady and felt grounded and reliable.  That was back then.  It has been sitting in climate-controlled storage for a long time.  I have held on for all these years in the hopes of returning it to use someday.  Well. that day has arrived but I have to ship overseas later this year.  I won't have free storage anymore and who knows about the future.  With prodding from those who are near and dear to me. I accept that I must let go.
Ok. so the car is 28 years old and was perhaps the first true Biturbo and ahead of its day.  What to do now?  Is there anyone out there interested in restoring this car for use?  How about parting it?  I would like to hear from anyone.  The car is in Florida.  It has not been started up in years and I won't even try.  The battery has been kept on trickle charge and is ok.  The gas tank and oil were drained.  Last time I started it up. I was surprised by how problem-free it was -- but that was years ago.
Let me know if you are interested. it's not so much about the money as it is about the car.  The chassis remains wonderful and this car can be customized in many ways.  It would be cheaper than buying a new Maserati but the time and effort.  Parts are available on Ebay. as you know.
