Current customer rating:
This thing can go 70-80 mph easily.
I drove it on I-280 today in the Bay Area (speed limit 65).
I have spent quite a bit of money on it last year (see below).
It can use work on the upholstery and some minor dings on the body.
The paint looks good. The pictures were taken on 1/1/14.
The good: (all less than 2000 miles on them)
New clutch replaced by Volvo specialists New tires New polyurethane bushing all around (10 hrs of professional work)New brake master cylinder and stainless steel brake hoses New U. S. made battery New K&N air filters Upgraded fuse block & new thermostat New gas tank and weather seal for trunk. New spark plugs and wires (tuned up also)New KYB shocks.
The not-so-good:
Most people who know these cars say it's a 1964. but the title says 1966.
I think it's a 1964.
It has a better grill that a 66. I haven't gotten to the interior yet. It needs some upholstery on the seats and overhead. Odometer hasn't worked. No A. C. No speaker. Spare tire well rusted through in the trunk.
Ding on the driver's side
