You're bidding on a unique 1957 Chevy Panel Truck. For the sake of clarity: This is a panel truck that had side windows added to it when it was customized. I love this truck and get complements on it wherever I go but after six years of ownership. I've decided it's time to get something different. My loss is your gain! The previous owner had this truck appraised at $30 K I've priced it to sell.

The truck is a full custom build. It has a Camaro front suspension and 4-link rear suspension on a custom subframe. I updated the rear coil springs this year. The ride is amazing. a fine cruiser.

The body is custom all around. It's been lowered over the frame. The rear has been tubbed. The door handles have all been shaved. The rear tail lights are molded in. The front and rear bumpers have been frenched to the body.

The truck is powered by a Chevy 350 small block V 8 topped with a Holley 650 Double Pumper carburetor. The Edelbrock Performer RPM cam delivers superb engine performance. This is a great sized engine for this type of vehicle it's not overly heavy or obnoxious and makes for a very comfortable cruise and 11 MPG. The transmission is a TH 350 automatic with a floor shifter. I've never had any problems with the transmission and I expect it will be rock solid for many years to come. All this power goes back to a Ford 9" rear end and a pair of massive Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro tires 28 x 12. 5-15 LT. The tires are brand new this year so you'll get a lot of use out of them before they ever have to be swapped. They're rolling on chrome Weld Draglite wheels front and back.

The interior is another place where this truck excels. It has a custom two-tone gray tweed interior throughout with bow-tie accents. It has a split front bench with seat belts for three people. There are two bucket seats in the second row for more passengers. The headliner hides the front speakers and the back has molded in AC vents and blower. The driver's door has a full set of power window and lock controls including the rear door latch.

The radio is AM/FM/CD and has a USB port for playing MP 3 s and an AUX-in jack. It powers the speakers hidden in the headliner. An amplifier and 2 x 10" subwoofers are built into the rear wheel hump for a clean. great sounding install. The dash is a blue Dakota Digital display.

This truck has many other great features: power steering. power 4-wheel disc brakes. keyless entry. custom matched air cleaner and valve covers. 3 underseat 12 V accessory ports. underseat AC power inverter. full length headers. stainless exhaust. hidden storage under rear cover. tow hitch behind license plate w/ trailer plug. and build book covering all components in the vehicle.

Condition: This truck has 16. 00 miles since it was originally customized. It has a few scratches. chips. and cracks in the paint. I've tried to document these in the photographs so you'll have a clear picture when you make your bid. There is a large scratch above the third tail light. The rear truck suspension used to be much lower and at some point the rear bumper caught a concrete lip which dented it and created a crack. The new rear suspension rides much better and you won't have to worry about this happening again. The body is all steel construction with no fiberglass parts. The truck has AC but I've never used it and my mechanic says that it needs to be recharged.

I drive this truck at least once a week and make sure it always gets its oil changed and wear items replaced on time. This awesome piece of machinery has served me well over the years and it's sure to bring a smile to your face. Happy bidding!

(This truck is being sold AS IS with no warranty implied or otherwise. All statements made to the best of the seller's knowledge. )
