1969 BMW 2000 CS Manual Coupé - Ultra Rare! Not a 2002 1602 E9 CSL or 3.0

This is an amazing opportunity to possibly own one of 5 cars known to be left in the UK. This is a genuine right hand drive car which was converted to RHD at the factory by Karman who manufactured the car on behalf of BMW. These cars are extremely rare anywhere in the world. as only just over 10. 00 were ever made. and only some 500 of those were converted to RHD.

Very low mileage of just under 26. 00 miles with MOT's and some invoices to support - and the condition of the engine and cylinders is commensurate with the mileage.

This is a project car. which has been off the road since 1985 and will require some body work. including front wings and inner and outer sills. All parts are available new and second hand from Germany.

The blue leather Interior is in fantastic condition. exterior very presentable although it does show it's age and have corrosion on the arches and bottom of the doors.

Car is 100% complete and original and in 'survivor' condition - with a wonderful wood dashboard (real wood) and chrome details. The headlining is perfect and all carpets present and correct.

The engine was sympathetically and carefully recommissioned in June of 2013. with an oil change and careful checks - and has been running. The engine ran without any smoke or rattles - and was smooth and lovely as you would expect from a BMW.

All lights and the dash dials work. and the car does turn over. but does not start due to fuel starvation as it requires a new fuel pump (as well as draining the fuel tank of the stale fuel). The fuel tank itself is in great condition with no holes or leaks.
