1980 BMW 635CSi in pristine condition

A pristine condition 1980 BMW 635 CSi for sale. with the iconic predecessor 'E9' shaped coupés now being highly coveted within collections around the world. it must only be a matter of time before the successor (E24) cars. launched in 1978. begin to rise in value in their wake. This example has a scarce and highly desirable specification in combining Graphite metallic coachwork with Burnt Ochre leather.

There is an electric factory steel sunroof and. of particular note. a factory close-ratio. five-Speed 'dog-leg' manual gearbox. Being a 1980 car. this model is without the exterior body styling cowlings and black bumpers of later models. looking sharp. pure and refined with the angular 'Shark Nose' design at its most prominent. It does however benefit from the Bosch Electronic Fuel Injection system and synchronised central locking (both upgrades introduced in this model year).

115K documented miles from new. there is a substantial history file to accompany the correct wallet containing BMW service and owner handbook manuals. The vehicle has not been modified from original. br> other than the switch to period BBS alloys (as many csi's were at the time to broaden tyre options) and a modern CD stereo. There are no cracks on the dashboard which is one of the weak spots on BMW's from this period and the service history with receipt in excess of 10K spent illustrates good diligence. care and investment throughout the cars life by its previous owners. This car is in very good condition throughout and a genuine joy to drive.

Minor attentions required to the paint work to bonnet and wheel arches as shown on the pictures. but these are very minor jobs. The car needs to be seen to fully appreciate the condition of this fantastic car.   

It has done less than 200 miles since the last MoT test which expires on the 27th September 2013. In fact the car has done less than 3k in the last 10 years. There were no advisories noted on the last certificate. The car will be sold with new MOT and 5 month road tax.
