Seller's notes: This is a virtually rust free car in excellent shape with only 69,103 miles (110,564 km). It is very original and untouched, apart from the front grille, side mirrors and rear license plate frame, which are from a later model 99. The original 1974 side mirrors comes with the car. Original engine and manual transmission work great. The original interior is also in great condition as evidenced by the pictures.

Saab 99 EMS was the sporty top-of-the-line 99 model from 1972 until 1978 when the turbo model was introduced. It has the much better and more reliable Swedish made 2. 0 L engine with Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection system. giving it 110 hp. It is a fun and peppy car to drive with plenty of bottom end torque. as opposed to the early turbo models. Much better fuel economy too. Original "soccerball" aluminum rims with blue center caps. Front seats are heated and the rear seat can be folded forward. like in most every Saab. This car was well maintained by its first Swedish owners. It was never winter driven and has always been parked indoor since I took possession. It was imported from Sweden to Halifax. Nova Scotia and then driven the 1000 mile trip to Ontario under own power.

If the car stays in Ontario. an Ontario safety inspection can be included for a small extra fee.

Because the car is over 25 years old. it is exempt from DOT and EPA regulations and can therefore easily be imported to the US as is. Only requirement is that the official US buyer. be it you or a friend or family member of yours. have to be present as you cross the border in Ogdensburg. NY (40 miles away). and you have to say the car is for personal use (not for commercial resale etc).

You can drive this car home under own power. another option is renting a trailer from U-Haul (only 2 miles away).

I just sent you an email regarding another Saab you have posted here.
I'm new to this site and am not sure how this works to purchase a vehicle off this site. You need to assist me!

I'm from Alberta. What are thoughts on the condition of this car if I were to drive it back to Alberta? Or do you think it's wise just rent a U Haul trailer and have it towed?

Would you accept $4,000?
