Current customer rating:
This classic 1970 RHD Triumph TR 6 (running on reliable Stromberg carbs) is showing a current mileage of just under 66, 000 (although this cannot be verified - it is 50 years old!).
Imported to the UK (from the US) in 1989 where it then underwent a RHD conversion and respray. This car is an enormous amount of fun to drive, quick, and gets a lot of attention wherever it is driven.
The car is a good older restoration which is very much a ‘user' and features the normal soft top weather equipment. The car is exceptional underneath - with no signs of welding as befits a car having spent a large part of it's life in a sunny climate.
Recently it's had mechanical refresh and the wiring and electical system updated. Has a recent set of matching Vredstein tyres.
The car (although MOT exempt) is supplied with a current MOT (expires April 2022).
The interior has a nice period patina and includes a Moto-Lita steering wheel (Original steering wheel is included) and comes with a chrome rear luggage rack.
On the road the car is lively and has a smooth gearbox. The car has sharp steering, decent brakes and makes a great noise!
A great little TR 6 that would suit an owner who wants an attractive and competitively priced classic for regular use.
Payment on collection. Can get a price for transport if needed.
Would be open to a PX for an interesting Italian (Alfa Romeo - Lancia - Maserati) car from the 50 s - 60 s - 70 s - 80 s - 90 s????
Alfa Spider S 4, 33 16 v/Sud, Lancia Fulvia/Flavia coupe, Maserati Biturbo/Spider/Ghibli... WHY?
