Ford Lotus Cortina Mk1 Genuine car 4 owners from new 1966 for sale

Mk 1 Lotus Cortina with 4 previous owners since 1966.
Registered 24/08/1966.
I am listing this car on behalf of my dad who has owned this car for the last 4 years and has used it for going to local shows and two classic car tours.
It is only ever used on dry days and is kept in a Car Cocoon which dehumidifies also.
The car was fully prepared with FIA papers.
We have since removed some of the roll cage cross bars. race seats. fire extinguishers etc to make it easier to use for him.
All these parts are still with the car if required.
The car is currently sitting on a set of the original steel wheels as viewed in the last two photographs. it will also come with a set of minilites and Yokohama R 21 tyres as in the earlier photos.
The body shell is original having had very minor repairs to one chassis outrigger.
Never been damaged.
Alloy fuel tank fitted in boot with central mounted filler cap.
The interior has the original back seats fitted. carpeting through out and new period low back bucket seats.
The engine was built by Nick Stagg based on one of the last Lotus L-Block engines giving 150 Bhp.
£5000 rebuild cost. full details and receipt available.
Oil cooler fitted.
Aero quip fuel lines through out.
Brand new exhaust system. original one also available.
Leda adjustable suspension on the front and new Bilstiens on rear.
Car being sold as we are running out of room and have decided to clear out some cars. see other cars for sale.
We have been involved in motorsport and historic cars for many years and all our cars are prepared to the very highest standards. we are not dealers just interested in collecting classic cars for our own use.
