For sale is this fantastic Clubman fronted Classic Mini powered by a Mk 1 16 valve Twin Cam from an MR 2 with a 5 speed box fitted to a modified subframe.

This Mini started its life as an innocent Mayfair but now has a fully removable. fibreglass Clubman front. fibreglass bonnet and roof making it remarkably light.

Coupled with the power of the engine. this is an extremely FAST piece of machinery and not for the faint-hearted!!!

It is Matt Black with 2 x Red Racing Stripes. runs well at low revs but when your foot is down. the power is instantaneous!! The interior is fitted with a Roll Cage and has black Corbeau Mamba fitted with Sparco 4 point Harnesses (No Rear Seats).

It has a custom dash with digital speedo (Acewell) and Koso odometer that both need calibrating (therefore mileage is static as well).

The switches are easily accessible on the dash and include. fuel pump. ignition. auxiliary cooling fan and lights.

There is also a “Kill” switch mounted on the scuttle.

The battery is located behind the passenger seat and MR 2 fuel tank sits nicely across the rear of the boot (large but no readout on dash as not connected).

The shell itself is in fantastic shape with no rot/rust. any found being treated properly.

The Subframes are in very good condition as is the floor being solid and hammerited. The Bonnet (quick release) and Boot have a carbon fibre wrap.

It has 12” Deep Dish Revolution Alloys sitting on Yokohama A 539's (165/60 R 12 71 H) with good tread. cupped by Group 5 Arches and has been correctly changed to a 1. 6 via DVLA as stated on the logbook and tax disc.

Within the last 6 months it has been driven less than 200 miles and this is one of the reasons that it has to go.

New Chrome Mini washer jets. New Chrome Racing Bullet mirrors. New window channel kit fitted. new interior hinges (both doors). replaced Cam Cover. New NGK Spark Plugs (BCPR 6 ES). New Induction Kit. New OE Toyota MR 2 16 v Oil Filter. Oil Changed (Mobil Super 2000 10 w 40). New Classic Mini Fin Alloy Brake Drums c/w shoes/springs. 8. 4” Mini Brake Callipers (for 12” wheels) + New Bleed Nipples/Pins/Pistons/Pads

Having purchased this in April I am forced to sell as I do not get the chance to drive it or give it the attention it deserves.

I neither have the time or space to do what I want with it due to being away with work.

Taxed til start of May 2014 and MOT til end of October 2014.

I do need to get rid of this reasonably swiftly but am not going to let it go for silly money. I would rather “mothball” it for a year or so. but I am open to OFFERS.

That said. I am a mini addict and would rather that this was turned into an awesome fast road/track day car for someone to enjoy.
