Fiat 500F Classic / LHD /1969 / Freshly Fully Restored & Exceptional!

This fully restored & highly desirable ‘round speedo' model is a 500 F with its original 499cc engine & is showing a mileage of only 61. 20. but having travelled circa only 25 test miles since an engine rebuild & full body restoration. It's naturally LHD. has only had a hand full of owners from new & was manufactured on 6th May 1969 at the Fiat factory & then dispatched to its first owner.

We have had this stunning little 500F restored by experts & circa 7250 Euros has been spent in the quest to restore it to factory standard. We have followed the progress of this little car for over six months & photographed the key restoration stages. along with printing the pictures for the history file. We have now had it transported to our shores & obtained full UK registration.

This example has the original shell along with the original engine. now rebuilt as required & very well detailed. The underside is also fully painted in the body colour & looks absolutely superb. it's is by far one of the most honest Fiat 500's we have ever come across. On close inspection it looks properly restored & possibly as good as when it left the factory in 1969!

This is a collectors opportunity & a superb investment. it has only driven less than 25 test miles since restoration & hence this cheeky chappy is now UK registered. MOT'd & being offered for sale for the first time in the UK!

The full pain staking restoration has just concluded & included: Complete strip to metal shell. the structure was found to be excellent & only new floor pans were required. The vehicle was fully rewired including the loom. new fuse box fitted. new battery etc. A full new white period interior was fitted along with the sunshine roof. The engine was removed & professional rebuilt as required along with being fully repainted. The gear box was rebuilt. a quality exhaust system was also fitted. The clutch. steering. springs. bushes. struts. starter. braking system. along with all mechanical parts were replaced or refurbished. span >  all pedals were restored. the petrol tank was flushed & fully refurbished. a new full black carpet set installed along with all other items of interior trim. All lights & external parts were replaced front and rear. all new window rubbers fitted. bumpers & brackets were all replaced. a new wing mirror fitted. all new badges. The original steel wheels were sand blasted & repainted in period cream & shod in new matching period tyres with white wall bands. The car was fully painted at this time in light blue that you see today. This includes the shell complete inside & out. No corner was left not professionally painted. (The underside was also fully painted). The underside suspension parts were also fully finished to a very high standard in black.   In fact it looks as good underneath as it does on the top!

Since being in our possession. we have been meticulous in our further preparation prior to offering this exception example to the market buy undertaking the following works: Machine polished the complete vehicle. detailed the engine bay & boot area. reset the boot lid correctly so it locks with ease. fitted a new boot surround rubber. fitted a new engine sealing rubber. fitted a new period correct boot mat. fitted a period correct tool kit. fitted a period correct side mirror. fitted 2No. high quality chrome door pull handles. fitted new hub caps. fitted new period number plates with Italian number plate surround. Adjusted the steering geometry. supplied a fresh MOT & conducted a multipoint check. tuned the carbs. set the timing. adjusted the brakes & given the cheeky little chap a full service check just to be sure! We have even fitted a new tax disc holder. 500 Key ring. ACI club sticker; period boot rack with straps & a wicker hamper basket for 2! The car is on the button. very reliable. drives very tightly & ready to go…

Fresh period Fiat cruise sky (Baby blue)  paintwork with a full new full white  interior. including matching door cards. rear quarter cards. roof panel. new full black period carpet set & a new black sun roof. finished white underneath.

Mileage showing 61. 20 Miles believed correct at time of writing. but this may increase as this is an exceptionally quick & good driving 500. so I intend to use it myself when the sun comes out!

The vehicle comes with a nice history file & contains the UK  V5C. UK registration papers. Fresh current UK MOT. Original log book. Copy of owners certificate.
