You are looking at my 1989 Metro city, car is in immaculate condition having only covered 32000 miles. It has been partially disassembled by myself to have a marathon cleaning session. I am a self employed valeter/detailer and this amongst a few others was my personal project. Car has had 4 owners, unfortunately 7 years ago after a very minor accident the car was written off by the insurance company and sent to Deaton Metals in Chesterfield. Simon Deaton is a good friend of mine, seeing the cars condition he rescued it and took it home to be restored when time allowed.it had a slight Dent in the right hand wing and the bumper was broken which is the reason it was written off. I purchased the car from Simon, detailed it and put it into storage. I have had the front bumper professionally repaired and painted however I didn't want to ruin the originality of the car (it's still wearing all of its original paint) so the wing was left as is. It has no rust or rot anywhere and I'm happy for any kind of inspection.There are 2 sets of keys with the car, however on arrival at Deaton's all of the old Mot's and service history were in the vehicle and have since subsequently been lost. Therefore there is no paperwork, just the full current type logbook and two sets of keys as stated.Sad to see this go as it's probably the cleanest shell you will ever see, the interior, engine bay and drivetrain are in outstanding condition. If this car still had its paperwork and a couple of doors less it would be getting on for 10 k in this climate so it's a fantastic entry level into retro car ownership Thanks for looking
