Volkswagen bay window, b uilt in 1971 and first registered in 1972 (crossover)
This is one of the most original and genuine VW campers around. Featured on the cover of volksworld camper & commercial magazine, this is an absolutely solid van - no previous welding on the underside, still factory red (underneath the protective coat of wax oyl) the van was stripped back to bare metal for a full repaint 5 years ago, on the outside in original colour (chianti red) all interior paint is original from factory. Factory spot welds on every panel (no replacements full of filler) this van is as good as they get:
- 86,000 miles- 4 owners from new- full service history- lots of paper work (original handbook, stamped service books, etc) - clean MOT (no advisories) - Danbury conversion (versatile layout options)
