1972 MGB Chrome Bumper that was recently restored including new paint in correct original color, Blaze Red (orange). Paint is really nice for a driver but ultimately could use a light wet sanding and buff in some areas to be really nice. The car looks really good. There's extra paint too. There's no rust on the floors and is very clean underneath as seen in the photos. However there was some rocker repair with stainless steel rocker covers installed as seen on many B's. All body lines are good. The trunk is very clean and has new carpet, and spare tire. Top is OK with no rips or tears having a functional zip out rear window. The slide snap on the left side is missing. Newer Stainless steel exhaust, gas tank, brake and clutch master cylinders, alternator and more. Engine compartment is really clean and detailed nicely with clean wiring throughout. All electrics work including horns as well as all gauges. The interior is in very good condition with no rips or tears including a dash with no cracks and a newer dash cap cover. Door panels are excellent as so is the carpet. Tires are newer Michelin 165SR14 and excellent with recently painted wheels. The car starts easily, runs cool and holds decent oil pressure as seen in the photo while running and better when cold. Car shifts and down shifts in all gears. The front timing cover seal should be changed at some time as it leaks a bit. Please don't ask if the car can be driven for long distances because I have only driven the car in my neighborhood as there's no insurance for a long distance drive. However the owner drove the car over one hour to deliver. He wants to sell as he's in his 80's and thought he and his wife would like the car, but didn't. He bought it from the restorer in May. There's a clear PA Title ready to transfer. I try to describe all items the best I can so there are no surprises. I am willing to assist in shipping as long as all arrangements are made well in advance by the buyer. A $500 non refundable deposit is required at the end on the auction. I can be reached at 814-931-0627 with any questions. There is a really low reserve on this car much lower than many Buy it Now cars on line. If you are looking for a chrome bumper MG that needs very little this is it. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the low reserve. Bid Away!!
