1969 Karmann Ghia LHD 1500cc Cabriolet

We purchased this American spec' car in 2016 after the previous owner had undertaken a full, no expense spared, three-year nut and bolt restoration. Receipts for more than £10,000 spent including many new parts and upgrades so the car functions "problem free" alongside modern traffic.

The new parts are much too numerous to mention here but the list includes practically everything rebuilt or replaced with new including heater exchangers; brake shoes, callipers and discs; cooling fan; alternator; fuel pump; track-rod ends; ball joints; shock absorbers; steering damper; steering wheel; American spec' bumpers to front and back; luggage rack; period USB radio and many more.The 1500cc engine was purchased as a newly rebuilt unit with all new ancillaries at £3,500 in 2015 – this engine has done less than 4,000 miles since “new”.This is the rare "Auto Stickshift" model.
