Mk 1 golf gti 1982 12 month mot 124 k miles The car is in excellent allround condition and is solid underneath. All suspension and brakes are like new. Everything on the interior is period and works as it should. It has a documented history and has pictures of the restoration which can be given on request. Engine bay and body restored and painted. All parts in engine bay shot blasted and either powder coated or zinc plated. New carpets, original vw arches, 80's alpine head unit and speakers in front doors. series 1 steering wheel. Recaro seats which are on polo height adjusting frames, sparco harness seat belts. fully adjustable coil overs that can be raised to the desired ride hight.Genuine BBS RS 4 x 100 15, tyres like new Show Cage Kamei spoiler (never got round to putting it on)Upgraded G 60 brakes The car is running a pretty rare BRM motorsport (Brian ricketts) 1.8 8 v. Bored out, Cammed, 4 to 1 manifold, stainless exhaust. Runs great and moves fast with the original look.This would be very easy to put back to standard and comes with everything to do so. Full interior including original carpet, parcel shelf's, rear speaker shelve brackets with spares. It has the original series 2 steering wheel, original engine (which was fully running when took out and had over £1500 spent on it getting it there), gearbox, boot lining, spare sun roofs, spare parcel shelf, spare door trims, spare scorpion exhaust, spare rear bench which I was going to retrim to match the recaro's. Trim comes with to match front seats. Original seat belts, There's practically a full second interior there. Also has the original turantula alloys that have been refurbed and have brand new tyres on. There's even a set of series 1 metal bumpers. A fantastic example of a Mk 1 with some subtle modifications to set it off, very clean and solid.
