Unique opportunity to buy a factory RHD 1977 Japanese market only Nissan Fairlady Z  (S31 chassis code). The S31 is an updated S30-series Z manufactured to comply with safety and anti-pollution regulations and sold only in Japanese home market.  There are probably less than 10 two seater Fairlady S30/S31's in the UK so this very rare car indeed and not to be confused with the more “common” Datsun 240Z/260Z.  

To meet the regulations back in the day, it was fitted with L20 engine and fuel injection. The current engine has been upgraded to a 2.8 EFI unit. The engine starts up but does not hold revs. The car comes fitted with factory 5 speed gearbox and Air con.

Having spent its entire life in dry Arizona, there are usual cracks on dash top. The interior is complete (clock and radio are supplied with spares including the passenger footrest as fitted on JDM only models).

There are no signs of any previous body repairs or welding patches like majority of UK RHD examples of same vintage which makes this a great candidate to restore back to its former glory. The car has been resprayed from white to its current colour. Whilst majority of the common problem areas are solid, the car will need repairs to floors and bottom of  front wings.  

All UK taxes have been paid and NOVA paperwork will be supplied to buyer.  Also available by separate negotiation is a very low mileage factory L20 engine in case future owner wants to put it back to factory specification. 

With top examples now making upwards of £50k in Japan, this car presents an affordable entry into classic World of RHD Nissan Z/Fairlady owners
