I DO NOT HAVE THE EBAY APP SO ANY COMMUNICATION MUST BE THROUGH THE CONTACT SELLER.LOOK strongly suggest that you come inspect vehicle before bidding or have an independent representative inspect for you.Mercury Capri. ASC McLaren convertibles were only built for 3 years, 1984,1985 and 1986, in 1984 only 50 were built, 1985 only 186 and 1986 only 197, for a 3 year total of 433. So you can see how rare these cars are, chances of you seeing one at your local show very low, unless of course you are driving this one. This car has been a Florida car since first sold, and I am the 3rd owner. It had a full body repaint last year, in the original color, and has no rust evident. Both seats were rebuilt and recovered, they were power seats but a previous owner hacked off the power cables and removed the motors, so they are now manual. It is only a 2 seater, with storage boxes fitted by ASC where the rear seats were. The roof is in good condition, but it is not a powered roof, raise and lower manually. It starts fine, drives good and stops good. The car is not absolutely perfect, but it is by no means a basket case, it's perfectly usable, just needs someone with more time and patience and skill than I have, to make it a first class show car. Obviously this is an auction and you bid whatever you wish, but I am open to offers, part exchanges or trades. Sensible please. No sending a check drawn on a non bank, with the request that I send the overpayment back in cash. DUH, that won't happen.Enjoy the photos of a very rare car, bid away. I was asked for photos of the engine, trunk and undercarriage when I advertised it last, at the time I didn't have them, so was unable to show any. Since then I got a camera (that works) and attached some of them this time, not the best but I ain't the greatest photographer. Sold as is where is, with no warranties or guarantees given or implied. Check payment Through a National Bank, ONLY.Shipping cost and arrangements your responsibility. For information: These cars were assembled in the same plant and on the same lines as the Mustangs, then passed to Mercury who in turn sent them to ASC McLaren who converted them to convertible's.You and your family stay safe and have a great day.I DO NOT HAVE THE EBAY APP SO ANY COMMUNICATION MUST BE THROUGH THE CONTACT SELLER.
