1969 Morris Minor Traveller - Trafalgar Blue 12 months MOT for sale
Current customer rating:
1969 Morris Minor Traveller 1098 cc Mot to 13/11/2014 Taxed (Tax Exempt) Currently in daily use (Insurance for this. plus one other and a 1939 Classic has just been renewed £104 !! This is unlimited mileage on all 3. self and wife driving. Relay Breakdown Cover HOME & ABROAD!!!) I bought this 12 months ago and it has done less than 100 miles since it's latest MOT. It was resprayed in Trafalgar Blue 4. 5 years ago by the previous owner and there is no rust showing through - it is in very nice condition bodily. The wings are solid as are the driver and passenger doors.
Underneath. the same again. It required a small amount of welding repair for the MOT and this was done to a high standard. I renewed both trackrod ends and steering gaiters at the same time. I replaced the cylinder head gasket about 3 months ago.
The seat covers are very good.
The wood is also in very good condition. The photos may show some dark patches but this is where I have applied Danish Oil as a protection. The wood needs to be rubbed down completely and re-varnished in better weather. There is one small problem with the wood - the piece where the rear door lock is located. This has had a repair by the previous owner and ideally needs to be replaced. I have sourced a good condition section for the job and fitting it in place is quite simple (best done when the whole is re-varnished) It is used by non-smokers - starts first time with choke and is a lovely daily useable classic. Spares are ridiculously cheap and easy to fit.
I can say little more but would encourage anyone interested to come and view it - I can drive it onto ramps if required.
These are advertised at silly prices sometimes (for their condition especially). This has been priced to sell and has no reserve - just a sensible start price.
Please
