Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.05) based on 306 votes
This vehicle is a Morris Minor 1000 2-Door Saloon.   We believe. by the engine code. to be a 1956-63 model.   The engine code is 12H3503. which would make it a Series III vehicle.   This vehicle was to be a restoration project by one of our self-storage tenants. who abandoned it several years ago.   You will receive a bill of sale with this auction; there is no title.   The Morris has been sitting for several years (with the engine and transmission removed but next to the car - see pictures) and we would like to help find it a new home. It would make a good base for a restoration project or a source for many good parts. The body is really in too nice of a condition for it to be scrapped out.

The car appears to be rather solid for its age.   The vehicle is difficult to get around due to storage items placed both inside and outside the car. but it appears that the hood is missing and one will need to be found if a restoration is desired.   There is an extra set of doors and the engine and transmission are on the flood beside the car. (See pictures)  Seats and interior panels are either inside the chassis/body or stored within the storage unit.   (See pictures)

A quick inspection of the car leads one to conclude that the color was likely some shade of a light green color; likely the same as the interior.   The car was repainted at some point a silver.   The driver's side fear fender panel shows a small spot of paint flaking off. revealing the underlying color.

We do not have the title to the car. but will furnish you with a bill of sale.   The winning bidder is responsible for its removal and transportation to the winning bidder's site of choice.   A non-refundable deposit of $300 must be made immediately upon conclusion of the auction and final payment may be made in the form of cashier's check. bank wire transfer. or cash.   Final payment must be made within 5 days after the conclusion of the auction.   If not. the car will be re-listed.

You may email with any questions or if you have additional information about this model. we would be happy to post it for additional reference.   You may also contact the listing agent. Andy at 574-656-4300 or via cell at 574-344-3854.
