Triumph Dolomite sprint

I had this sprint for sale 4ish weeks ago and it sold and went to a new home where the chap has loved it :) loved it that much he decided to now have a white sprint (he wanted a white 1 to start with) built buy us and I have taken this 1 back as a px take a look my fb page savage works restoration thanks Hello here we have a 1979 triumph Dolomite sprint I bought this car of a lovely old chap who has spent the last 3 years tinkering and putting the car back together from where it had been stored for 20 years The car was part restored 20 years ago and painted at that time so does have some age related marks around it how ever saying that it still cleans up to be a lovely honest car :) Engine is the 2.0 16v sprint engine it starts and runs lovely, just serviced it today, it has a Kent cam in it and small amount head work, the car performs lovey the power delivery from 2500 is brilliant uses no oil or water has no leaks and sounds awesome, has a full stainless exhaust Gearbox, ohhhhhh be had a fair few sprints and this gear change is the best yet and the over drive works perfect Suspension it has some spax adjustable dampers on the rear stock shocks on the front and stock springs all round, front end is fully poly bushed to Brakes have been refurbished new brake lines etc all new fuel lines etc to Has toyo tyres on the front and budget on the rear all 4 are nearly new tracking has been done and drives in a straight line :) Interior - is in fantastic condition seats are lovely, dash is nice so are the door cards, the wood trim has been refurbished stained and then has been done in satin clear coat and imo the old chap has made a lovely job of it :) all the dash works etc radio is in place but not wired in The body - please remember this was painted 20 years ago was done to a very good standard back then but after 20 years there is some very minor marks and rust/blisters on the car but as you can see it cleans up beautiful and looks amazing, the worst of the marks are on the bonnet edge and top the front panel other wise the car is really really good, the vynl roof is new 4 months ago lovely period sunroof aswell that does not leak Under side is black floor pans and under 4 arches are painted green I've got the full log book, old receipts and current receipts for recent works carbs cleaned set up etc that alone was £700 Points to note - car originally started life as vermilion red sprint, the owner 25 years ago decided he wanted it British racking green, I think it's brooklands green tho, it has been a full colour change to a very good standard but if you turn up with a torch you can look down in the bulk head see someEvidence and up under the dash but you wouldn't have known if I had t told you, it's all been colour changed on the log book to, age related marks as explained, passanger rear door doesn't open (will have a look when I get chance), due to the Kent cam it runs a little lumpy on tick over as all do with a big cam in them soon you pick the revs up slightly she is awesome, has had welding done to the inner arches which is visible under the green paint but it's done to a good standard and not hidden But overall this is a lovey honest car it's a brilliant investment to with sprint prices on the rise and get the enjoyment out of it rather than look at a bank Balance Car is located in Coventry and can be viewed anytime I've got more pics and can send more pics on request, I'll happily take anyone out on a lengthy test drive, you can drive it once you have paid for it any inspection is welcome etc A £500 deposit secures the car as yours, also needs to be paid for within 3 days I can deliver the car any where in the uk for a price but Only after it's been paid for etc send me your post code for a quote Any questions please ask away It's a lovely honest car great to drive looks lovely enjoy it :) Please feel free to look at my fb page Savage works restoration for other sprints to :) Thanks Chris I've added my phone no to the listing at the top I don't tend to see my emails but if I don't answer drop me a txt and I'll get back to you
