The 1963 model was the final year that the Tempest was a unibody car. But what makes it more unique is that it uses a 2-speed automatic transaxle, a combination differential/transmission mounted in the rear of the car, providing much better overall weight distribution.Just added disc brakes to front. New idler arm and pitman arm for better steering. She runs good. A new convertible top could be put on soon. It has a small hole in the window portion of top. Price for new one is about 300. Had a 326 engine but was replaced with a Pontiac 350 (date code 1971-1974) 2 BBL. Rebuilt powerglide transmission.

New seats and carpet, and trunk mat. Wooden steering wheel. Stainless Steel dual exhaust. flowmaster mufflers. Glass all in good shape. Dash in good shape. The only other thing I was going to change out in the near future was the weather stripping around front windows.
