Pontiac Grand Prix. 1967 convertible 400 automatic loaded w/factory air, wheel skirts, cruise, electric windows, knockoffs console tach with 140,000 miles. Original triple white with red accents. This is a very nice running driving car for fun going to car shows travelling or collecting restoring. App.3,000 miles on complete refurbishment done a little over 10 years ago with all receipts and garage kept since. Only around 5500 of these made and only 1 year of Grand Prix convertible. Car is setup for driving and is not restored as a trailer queen and i did not even clean it for pics to show I've been driving her. Refurbishment for reliable driving included new standard nose assembly (needs convertible only endcaps to be correct) with original white.repaint, new white convertible correct premium top that functions perfectly, complete motor tuneup w/switch to Holley 4 bbl carburetor for reliability, new molded correct carpet from Ames, Pertronix electronic ignition conversion kit (starts every time first time, very reliable), complete suspension rebuild with all new Moog parts on entire front end, new coil springs front, rear, new shocks, all new suspension bushings, professionally rechromed rear original bumper, new whitewall tires w/new matching spare, new dual exhaust w/turbo mufflers, complete new brake system, all fluids changed in tranny and rearend, new alternator and regulator + much more too numerous to list. A/C and cruise control are not functioning and vacuum lines for dash controls are not either. Aftermarket airbags installed in rear springs has a leak in line that needs attention. Vacuum lines will need to be restored to use a/c, cruise, and some dash controls. Drive it like it is or you can finish restoring the car as it's already got 99% of the correct parts. Original Rochester carb and air cleaner assembly is missing and unaccounted for but I see them on ebay regularly. Has a squealing belt that needs adjusting and a minor leak at rearend pinion seal but otherwise I'd drive it anywhere. Car is setup for reliable cruising and it does so effortlessly at 70 mph and more. Don't know if it's the original engine but it is a good strong running one and close enough year wise to be correct anyway. Top works perfect and all lights and signals function properly and vehicle will currently pass VA state inspection. Front lower valance is damaged since repaint and needs minor repair from hitting a stop bar in storage. Couple minor scratches as it is driven regular for parades and cruise-ins with current tags and insurance and made to not worry about it and enjoy the car as I said. Includes a ton of original paperwork with service and body manuals, lots of literature, receipts, and alot of history info on the car including framed ads. Includes new headlight vacuum rebuild kit with can for headlight doors and a new trunk seal that needs installing. Tach works but is not hooked up. Also includes a rare original set of correct real wire wheel covers with knockoffs for this car. Neck surgery & too many vehicles- need the room and cant wrench anymore is reason for sale. Cash on pickup or Certified funds must clear our bank ahead of time before title and vehicle will be released.
