Ok, time for my beloved 205 cti to find a new home. I have owned this for about 18 years but it has been registered in my girlfriend's names occasionally, so the V 5 says I've had it since 2018.This car has been great to own. Drove it all around Europe 10 years ago, 9000 miles in 10 weeks, but haven't really used it at all since then.This will be sold with a brand new MOT, just need to get the rear brakes freed up and it can go back in for it's re-test. Second to last MOT cost me £600 (new cam belt, water pump, brake lines, spark plugs, dist cap and arm, air filter, fuel filter. Lots done, it had been stored in a barn for 5 years prior to that).It's old and the paint work looks like it, very faded in places. Some panels have had a coat of paint but not a very good job. If you want it bling, it'll need a full respray. Seats are looking worn but not too bad, same with the carpets. Plastic dash has some cracks. Roof hasn't been up for years, only ever took it out on sunny days, but it looks to be good still, it was replaced not long after I bought the car. A few spots of rust here and there but nothing serious at all, always been stored under cover.Mechanically it's excellent, pulls really well and zips around, punchy high-revving 1.6 L fuel injected engine. Drives like a go-cart, lots of fun. Good tyres all round including a couple of newish Michelins.Needs: I'd recommend a starter motor. The starter is behaving ok at the moment but has failed to turn occasionally in the past. You're welcome to view by appointment, but don't make any silly offers. I'm not giving it away I've had it forever and am quite happy to keep it for ever more. It goes up in value every year and will soon be MOT and TAX free!
