1978 International Harvester Scout for sale

What we have here is a nicely restored 1978 International Scout II 4 x 4.
Please see below for 120+ photos, walk-around video and cold-start video. • 345 cubic inch V 8, recently rebuilt • 4 x 4 with front locking hubs • New Holley 2300 street avenger carburetor with electric choke • New fuel filter, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, thermostat, belts • Electric ignition (replaced points) • New 3 core Aluminum radiator and hoses • Rebuilt automatic transmission w/ new neutral safety switch, transfer case seal/gasket, mount
• New starter, alternator, fuel pump, power steering pump, steering box, steering column • Full drum brakes replaced • New door, body, hardtop and windshield seals • New cab mounts and 1" body lift • New front pans and rear cargo floor - welded in place • New light bar and custom front/rear bumper with brush guard • Newly upholstered seats • New carpet in back, new rubber floor in front - I have the matching carpet for the front if you want it • New 31" Pathfinder tires • Factory radio delete option - no stereo or speakers. You can install your own stereo in the stock location, glovebox, center console, or use a Bluetooth speaker setup with your phone (which is what I do) • Fully removable hard-top • All gauges work • New glossy black paint, 9/10 with a few minor blemishes up close (see photos) • Starts up great (even cold), runs and shifts smoothly. • No fluid leaks at all • As expected with these Scouts, some rust underneath in floor pans (remediated) and driver's front wheel well (see pics) • The hardtop rear hatch doesn't full align/close all the way on the driver's side. Could be fixed, left that way, or go topless/soft topper. Up to you. It does latch and fully lock. • Offered in Santa Barbara, CA with a clean Texas title
