International Harvester Other.Up for auction is my 1971 international harvester 1310 crew cab 4X4 long bed. This truck started out as a 1210 3/4 ton but has been upgraded to a 1310 1 ton using all factory parts. I don't know if IH ever produced a 1310 single rear wheel, crew cab, 4X4. I have never seen in person or in pictures, anything other that a dually crew cab 4X4. I searched extensively and built this truck using all the correct factory parts down to the nuts and bolts when possible. The upgraded 1 ton specific parts include, the front bumper with rare factory grille guard and correct bumper mounting bracket/ front spring mount, correct power steering box and drag link, all 4 leaf springs and forged spring mounts, and Dana 70 front axle/ IH RA15 rear axle both with 4:88 gears. The truck is powered by an IH 392ci engine with a new Edelbrock 4bbl carb. Runs good but could use new valve cover gaskets. The transmission is a T135 5 speed manual with the direct 1:1 5th gear. Truck has a 205 transfer case and all driveshafts have been rebuilt with all new u-joints. The axles have had all new brakes installed with new shoes, wheel cylinders and hardware. The front brake hoses are new and a new master cylinder has been installed. The interior has high back front seats from a 74 travelall. The original low back buckets with console will be included but they need recovered. 4 gold deluxe door panels that match the front seats will also be included. Some of the gauges don't work but a extra speedometer is included. The carpet needs replaced. The body of the truck is in great condition and almost rust free including the inner fenders and all exterior panels. There are a few minor dings and dents as one would expect on a truck of this age. Some of the lower trim is dented but straight replacement come with it. The tailgate doesn't match but is straight and rust free. The paint is faded and has some great patina. The bed is in great shape other than someone cut a hole towards the back that is shown it the pictures. The only rust I can find on the truck is in the left interior kick panel below the vent where debris collected the rest of the cowl area appears to be in great shape. The truck runs and drives as it should. I have driven it on a couple of 40 mile round trips recently, but I would trailer the truck if it is being taken any long distance.  The brakes could use bled again. This truck is my version of the ultimate IH D-series truck and I hate to part with it but I need the funds and the space to finish a couple of Scout projects that have been waiting. Please only bid if you are serious and the truck will only be released when paid it full by cash.
