Jaguar XJ 6 4.2 Auto Short wheel base Silver with Black leather Registered 27 th of June 1974 MOT & Tax exempt Genuine 31900 miles from new A true survivor car This vehicle is in fantastic original condition. I would say that it was Zibarted from new, as the car has never been welded and is in incredible structural condition. The car had been in storage for a very long time so I set about recommissioning it. I have removed and restored the rear subframe replacing all bushes etc. The rear in board calliper has been professionally refurbished. All the brakes have been gone through. The carburettors have been refurbished and a new fuel enrichment device fitted. The car has had new exhausts from manifold back (just needs the new tail pipe finishers fitting). All the electrics in the vehicle work. The headlining is in great original condition with no sagging. The car is now fitted with period Kent alloy wheels with new tyres and re production centre caps and wheel nuts - I have the original wheels and centre caps which will come with the car. The paint work has some areas of micro blistering. The front part of the wings around the headlamps appear to have been touched up. There is a crease dent on the rear door which hasn't broken the paintwork. There are some small areas of cosmetic corrosion and the previous elderly owner put some self adhesive chrome wheel arch trims which have started to come away removing areas of paint but all areas are solid. Ideally, the car would benefit from a respray but looks presentable as is. I have the original Jaguar hand book and passport. This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a solid rare short wheel base XJ 6 in a great colour combination that just needs finishing off. The car is located in Corsham, Wiltshire.
