1996 P Mini Cooper 1.3i Sport pack

1996 P Rover Mini Cooper 1.3i Sports packHere we have for sale my lovely little Mini the car was bought as a summer/lockdown project as I've always wanted a classic mini. It has been off the road for a few  years and needed someone to give  it some tlc. Ive had a lot of work done over the past few months and the car now is stunning and ready to be enjoyed, as restrictions end I am back in the office and therefore need a more modern car to do the motorway miles is required..Engine and gearboxIn my ownership  the car has a had a full service, plugs, air filter, oil filter and oil. The alternator and starter motor were refurbished and a new battery installed. I had the exhaust replaced as when I purchased the car it came with a centre exit exhaust which was not to my taste (I still have it if you would like it)  The engine is completely original with no modifications, it starts first time every time.BodyworkThe car has no structural rust whatsoever, I had the car inspected and was happily told that it's in excellent condition. Doors, bonnet, boot lid and floor are all solid. The Bodywork is nice and straight all the arches are in good condition. I have however had  the roof painted white after purchasing it as it came with a grey Union Jack sticker that was peeling. The roof  is now mint all around the sun roof etc. The bumpers on the car polish up well but do have some marks on them which I have tried to picture. Overall the paint works is nice and clean but being a older car has a few little marks and stone chips. InteriorCompletely standard as it rolled out of the factory, nice and clean with no rips or excessive wear to report. At some point some after market speakers have been fitted to the rear shelf and it has a after market CD player with usb. Suspension and gearbox The suspension looks to be standard and there are no issues with it, gearbox goes through the gears smoothly and the clutch feels good.Wheels and tyres If you are looking for a mini you will know that the wheels fitted as part of the sport pack are known for corrosion these wheels were no different. One of the first jobs I had done was to send them off to be completely stripped (Sand blasted) and powder coated in the original High shine silver. The wheels are now immaculate and have had new nuts and centre caps to compliment the Refurb. They have Yokohama tyres which have plenty of life left in them.I have a lot of receipts Of the work that has been carried out I have bought most parts from mini spares in Potters Bar. It is currently on 84193 miles, the  car has mot until may 2022 it passed with flying colours in the last mot. Overall it's a lovely little car which is a head turner and a real conversation starter wherever you go, my ownership has been short lived but immensely  fun. Unfortunately the car was recorded as a cat d salvage back in 2001, I am unsure what the damage was but looking around the car you I certainly can't tell. I am happy to answer any questions, provide more videos photos etc. I have tried to describe the car as accurately as possible you are welcome to carry out any inspection. However please no time wasters or silly offers Happy to take a part ex a modern diesel bmw preferably.
