1978 Dodge Dreamer Factory Built Tow Rig Survivor!
Details:
Up for sale is a 1978 Dodge Dreamer! One of only 100 built and as seen on the TV show Counting Cars! This cool old school sleeper van would make a great and unusual rig. A true "survivor" this
factory built show/tow/haul rig that has a 440 BIG BLOCK engine and an automatic transmission. Runs and drives pretty good for a 40+ year old van, and just passed Texas State Inspection, so the lights, wipers, horn, brakes all work. It will still need electrical work to fix the gauges, a/c, heat, etc.. The tires have good tread but are old and weather cracked. The body is in really good shape, with some very minor fiberglass damage (SEE PHOTOS), on what looks to be original paint and graphics. All in all a really good survivor. Odometer reads 62 k, but we don`t have any records to verify its correct. There doesn't seem to be any rust underneath (SEE PHOTOS) and is very solid! All the "glass" is in good shape but there is a small crack in the "plexi-glass" door, all doors open and close, windows roll up and down. The engine smokes a bit when first started, but clears right up after running. Transmission shifts good too.
Its been parked for about 10 years , so it still will need some restoration work. There are over 90+ photos below in this description! PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES. We have a
Clean New Mexico title in hand. The vehicle runs and has been driven short distances here locally, but will need to be transported.
