About this vehicle This 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster is a project vehicle. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven. Vehicle Details
1948 Chevy,chevrolet woody woodie wagon, originally burgundy the most sought after color. With spot light options.
Woody was originally used in a nursery in fallbrook California. The owners of the nursery would drive people around and give kids rides through the nursery. When the car stopped running they parked it in the front as a memory. As the wood started to deteriorate they dragged it to the back corner of the nursery. I saved it many years ago from going to the junkyard.
Has the original 6 cylinder motor automatic transmission. There is some of the wood left for patterns there are three doors with mechanisms inside the doors still some of the rear lift gate hinges. Both of the seats. I had A steering wheel refurbished. Purchased a second dash that is included in the sale of the vehicle.
There is a reputable wood restoration shop in Fullerton California I can deliver the vehicle there for you if needed.
Complete new wood is $13 k - $16 k
