.

The previous custodian to this wonderful little MK III Triumph GT6 spent many ££££`s over the 11+ years he was the lucky owner to this fun little classic vehicle, hence, today this car is an excellent starter-point GT6 and runs freely.

The previous owner, in years gone by, used this car frequently so his main objective was in keeping the car good looking and reliable. With this mind he had the car completely stripped down and repainted, taking care of any minor rust issues present at the time. He also spent time, effort and money on the mechanical side, and I can see that the spark plugs still look like brand new.

All the above work was performed quite a few years back but has all held up very well in my opinion, with no obvious signs of any visible rust to the upper body that I can see. Likewise, the engine seems to start and rev out easily enough, so I don`t envisage too many problems in getting her ready for the roads once more.

Due to the previous owner being an employee of our armed forces (in the RAF) he obviously spends a lot of his time away from home. For this reason, the car has not been used on the roads properly for quite some time, so although still looking and sounding relatively great, I would still suggest a good service and tune-up would be the name of the game before going for a serious hack.

With all the above in mind there will obviously be some minor body, paint and interior imperfections that you `may` wish to attend to but in my opinion, she is still fundamentally very solid and perfectly usable as-is (after recommissioning) unless you are of a pedantic nature and/or perfection is your desired goal.

So, in summary this is a wonderful little Triumph GT6 that has been in storage and unused by its previous owner for a little time now, but after some initial tinkering has never failed to start whilst in my possession. Cosmetic TLC is obviously your prerogative but unnecessary in my view and most definitely not vital.

As always, please bid with confidence as we are honest people who would never wilfully mislead anyone just to achieve a sale.  This said, all our cars are sold `as seen` so please feel free to come and view/examine `beforehand` to make sure you will be totally happy with your purchase once bought.

I am very keen to sell hence I have set a very realistic and easily achievable reserve especially considering their increasing values and that similar condition vehicles are advertised for £16,000+…

If you have a genuine interest/offer, and you are prepared to back it up, then I`m sure it could be sorted between you, ourselves and eBay.

As with all our cars, due to long term storage I would always strongly suggest a good going over/service/tune-up/recommissioning of all vulnerable and moving parts before returning them back to the open roads as they have not normally been used for some time and it would just be darn right silly not to on a modern car let alone a classic of a bygone era.
